At HorizonCalc, we believe in user privacy. The input values you enter into the calculator—such as observer height, target distance, target height, and unit parameters—are processed entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript.

None of your specific calculations, numerical queries, or results are sent to our server or stored by us. They remain local to your session.

2. Log Files

Like most standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure may collect temporary server log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), date/time stamps, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. This data is used solely for security audits, identifying site errors, and system administration. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We do not set tracking cookies or collect individual profile identifiers. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics tools to monitor general site traffic (such as total pageviews and general country origins) to help optimize site performance.
